Peer Support Worker

Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba

Parkland Region, Manitoba

My name is Melanie Balanyk. I am the peer support worker for Parkland Region. I have been with MDAM for over a year. I live in the Parkland region and currently have several programs happening here. My newest project is Together Let’s Eat! A free meal kit program. I also partake in The Friendly Caller Program within the region. I consider myself to be very active. I have participated in the MS Society Bike Tour, Manitoba SnowShoe Run, Relay For Life just to name a few. I believe my personal experiences may add knowledge and growth to my position at MDAM.

Stay tuned for more upcoming programs and events!
